Anyone who knows anything about the Marine Corps knows who this man is, SgtMaj Bradley Kasal. (Google him).
In the two years I have worked in SOI, I have dealt with Kasal several times personally. Talking to him about daily concerns/pick ups/company/platoon issues for our MCT, ITB and Recon Marines. It’s so funny to be standing there talking to him, while Marines walk by with their jaws on the ground. I’ve heard several stutter while talking to him, it’s adorable.
The first time I met him, I had no clue who he was. I talked to him like he was just some regular guy. Once I found out what he did in Fallujah, I was instantly brought to tears. Being someone who is married to a Marine, has a brother and several cousins who are Marines, I instantly felt so proud. And I’ve lost someone in this war so to be able to speak to someone who has survived and is truly passionate about our military (still) is amazing.
It will never get old meeting men and women who fight for this country!
